FPE - Faculty of Education

• Offers bachelor, master and PhD degrees of various types, especially programs leading to gaining teacher´s qualifications in a field of preschool, primary and secondary schools. In a study program of primary and secondary school, the students can exploit the study programs such as Czech, English, German,  Russian, History, Psychology, Physics, Chemist, Maths, IT, Biology, Geosciences, Arts, PE, All may be combined in a pairs of two.
• Develops wide spectre of programs included in lifelong education programs, especially programs focused on teachers´ further education. Also represented by senior´s education.
• Prepares young people for the best performance in their job and focuses on their positive approach to labour market and the life in society.
• Involves a large number of professionals to educational process.
• Supports research and development activites in all of the previously mentioned fields, for theese students, the school offers PhD study programs (specialization in Pedagogy, degree courses in Computer Science Education Theory, educational theories in physics, theory of educations of Czech language).
• Orientates students and teachers on international cooperation and provides a big opportunity of internships abroad.
• As a support of international students, there is AISEC Pilsen that is one of the biggest international organisation led by students. Its main goal is the members´ development and the mediation of internships for Czech students leaving Czech Republic as well as incoming students.
• Realises the educational and academic and other cooperation with other subjects from CR as well as foreign countries. It takes part in many projects of many fields of interests.
• There are plenty of events (concerts, exhibitions and sport activities) taking part in a life of Pilsen city.
